Cruisers Yachts 50 FLY

While many American boat builders have moved away from flybridge models, Cruisers Yachts saw the opportunity to bring the bridge back to its customers.

That decision made Cruisers the only manufacturer building a 50-footer with a fly on U.S. soil.

While designing the new 2027 Cruisers Yachts 50 FLY, the company looked back at its existing customer base to focus on what mattered most.

“The 50 FLY was developed to carry on the Cantius series heritage,” says Matt VanGrunsven, director of business development at Cruisers Yachts. “We have a deep clientele base that we are looking to bring forward, and the flybridge series is the perfect evolutionary step.”

With a focus on comfort, the 2027 50 FLY is perfectly suited for either a weekend getaway or an extended cruise down the coast. Three staterooms and two heads provide versatile accommodations for family and friends, while the flybridge creates another roomy, well-equipped entertainment space.

At nearly 16 feet, the wide beam adds extra room to living areas and provides comfortable walkways between entertainment spaces fore and aft. However, the most impressive thing about the new Cruisers Yachts 50 FLY is its extensive list of standard features. These include a Seakeeper gyro stabilizer, a central vacuum, dual 16-inch Garmin displays at each helm, radar, a 17 kW diesel generator and a fiberglass hardtop.

Volvo’s IPS 800 package provides power for the 50 FLY, and standard features go above and beyond with Volvo’s Dynamic Positioning System and joystick controls. Combined, these make maneuvering the 50-footer easy, while Volvo’s IPS engine and drive setup provide noticeable efficiency and control.

There are some great options available to create a personalized cruising yacht, such as a washer and dryer; however, right out of the box, the 2027 Cruisers Yachts 50 FLY sets new standards for the cruising market.
