Correct Craft has acquired Fluid Motion, the parent company of Ranger Tugs, Cutwater Boats and Solara Boats. The acquisition brings the three Pacific Northwest brands into Correct Craft’s portfolio while allowing Fluid Motion to continue operating independently from its headquarters in Monroe, Washington.
Fluid Motion traces its roots to 1958, when the Ranger Fiberglass Boat Company was founded. John, Jennifer and David Livingston purchased the company in 1998, later launching Cutwater Boats in 2011 and Solara Boats in 2022. Today, the company designs and builds all three brands in-house at facilities throughout Washington.
