Hunt Yachts debuted its new Hunt 56 at the 2026 Newport International Boat Show, marking a new chapter for the storied American builder under new ownership. DiMillo’s Yacht Sales acquired Hunt Yachts earlier this year and secured an exclusive licensing agreement with Ray Hunt Design, preserving the brand’s legacy while expanding owner support through DiMillo’s sales, service and marina network.
The Hunt 56 is the first new model to emerge under the new ownership. The 56 joins Hunt’s lineup of premium offshore powerboats, which are built around the legendary deep-V hull pioneered by C. Raymond Hunt and are known for their seakeeping, performance and classic New England styling.
Powered by twin 725-hp Volvo Penta IPS 950s, the Hunt 56 Flybridge achieves a top speed of approximately 30 knots, while the Express version reaches approximately 32 knots.
