Aquila Debuts 35 Sport

By October 5, 2026No Comments

Aquila Catamarans expands the options in its center console Sports range with the new 35 Sport, unveiled at Cannes Yachting Festival 2026. The 35’6” long 35 Sport delivers a 14’9” beam, offering the same bold, SUV-inspired styling as the Aquila 45 Sport in a more compact model. Three distinct social hubs in the bow, helm and aft cockpit maximize entertaining space on board, while the double-stepped hull delivers performance and efficiency, with twin Mercury Verado V8 300hp outboards standard.

The 35 Sport benefits from reduced drag and better stability, while its shallow draft makes access to beach anchorages and coastal waterways possible. The forward bow seating fits four and offers convenient storage, while the U-shaped seating aft transforms into a sun lounger. A wet bar, sink, storage and Corian-topped galley block make it easy to relax and entertain from the cockpit.

“The 35 Sport takes everything that’s worked so well on the 45 Sport and brings it to an owner looking for something more compact, without losing any of the character or performance. The emphasis on entertainment and socializing is evident throughout, and the boat lives up to its name with the excellent sport performance,” says Jean Raas, chief product officer and CEO of Aquila USA.

A cabin with a queen berth below deck comfortably sleeps two and includes a private head with a shower and an optional lithium battery package for off-grid climate control. A C-Zone digital switching system monitors and controls DC power throughout, while the fiberglass hardtop is engineered for optional roof racks to carry SUPs, bicycles and kayaks overhead. An optional Makefast shade system extends shade coverage, and the Fusion Signature Series audio system sets the mood with six speakers on board.
