Princess Yachts’ new C48 made its world premier alongside the North American debut of the X90 at the 2026 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. Princess included an eight-yacht line-up at the show that spanned all six Princess classes. “Fort Lauderdale is an important event for Princess, and we’re delighted to be bringing two significant new yachts to North America alongside a strong representation of our wider portfolio,” says Will Green, CEO of Princess Yachts.
The C48 brings Princess into the center console, day boat market with an Open and Deck Saloon option, both built on a Michael Peters’ patented SVVT hull and available in a choice of three engine options. The C48 Open’s fully open main deck offers connection to the water, with a hardtop for shelter from the elements. A large cockpit is the ideal entertainment zone, with an aft sunpad, forward-facing seating with a table and drop-down folding seats to starboard and port. Half-height balconies deliver extra seating, while drop-down terraces extend the living space over the water. The galley features forward and aft wet bars, an electric grill, drawer fridge, sink and storage. Multiple lounge areas offer space to relax throughout the day, while a lower saloon with convertible dinette, lobby with storage and optional fridge/freezer, day head and aft cabin offer more space below deck. The Deck Saloon model combines a sophisticated, enclosed interior with the flexibility to open the yacht to its surroundings.
“The C48 represents an exciting new direction for Princess, opening the brand to a new audience while retaining the design, engineering and craftsmanship that define every yacht we build. It is a bold addition to our portfolio and one that we’re particularly excited to introduce,” says Green.
The X90 builds on the Super Flybridge concept, offering expansive living spaces, innovative architecture and advanced engineering. An expandable beach club-style cockpit features fold-down terraces for expanded living space and connection to the water. The aft cockpit opens directly into the main deck dining area, while the enclosed Skylounge and wheelhouse deliver a fresh configuration. Three en-suite guest cabins come standard, with an optional five-cabin layout. Boosting the X90’s performance is Princess’ new Hybrid Progressive-Planing (H.P.P.) hull, developed in partnership with Bernard Olesinski Limited.
“The X90 takes a very different approach, building on the success of our X Class with exceptional interior volume, innovative design and impressive long-range cruising capabilities,” explains Green. “Together, these two yachts demonstrate both the breadth of our offering and our commitment to developing products that meet the evolving expectations of our customers.”
