There’s now a new educational boating newsletter sent directly to boater’s inboxes called America’s Boating Compass.
Non-profit America’s Boating Club started the newsletter and plans to put videos, articles, and other advice in every issue each month on topics like safety, new boaters, technology and more. The information will also be available on a new website: boatingcompass.org. The monthly e-newsletter premiered with articles on the ways to prepare your boat for hurricane season, how to navigate a marine radio and what to look for when picking out a life jacket. The newsletter launch coincided with the National Safe Boating Council’s National Safe Boating Week, which ran May 16-22.
