Antique Boat Museum Hosts POSH Picnic

By June 22, 2017No Comments

The Antique Boat Museum (ABM) in upstate New York is hosting its fundraising dinner and summer kick-off event on Saturday, July 1. The fundraiser will benefit the ABM’s collection of more than 300 antique and classic boats, as well as thousands of recreational boating artifacts. The ABM was founded in 1967 and is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.

POSH Picnic attendees will be treated to a dinner by Tin Pan Galley of Sackets Harbor on the ABM’s waterfront campus. Live music by Jim Burr, Anthony Ingerson and Mike Wills will set the ambiance for dinner. Following dinner will be a live auction featuring unique nautical items. These include a model of the schooner yacht Atlantic in a glass display case. The top prize, however, is a catered dinner for 10 guests on the lounge deck of La Duchesse, the ABM’s historic houseboat.

The evening event begins at 6 p.m. Tickets are available for $150 per person, or $1,000 for a table of eight guests. Interested parties can reserve tickets (recommended) by calling 315-686-4104 ext. 221. To learn more, visit abm.org.
