Avikus signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Honda Marine to integrate the NEUBOAT Semi-Autonomous System with the Honda Intelligent Shift & Throttle command and control system. Avikus will integrate its NEUBOAT system using the protocol of the Honda iST drive-by-wire control system to provide A.I along with autonomous features like collision avoidance, adaptive cruise control and auto docking.
While NEUBOAT NAVI, DOCK 2 and NEUBOAT CONTROL systems combine to provide real-time information and automated adjustments for situational awareness and safe maneuvering on the water, the Honda iST system offers control of up to four outboard engines and two separate control stations paired with easy shift and throttle management.

The iST system is available on a range of Honda Marine high-power outboard motors, including the BF115, BF150, BF200, BF225, BF250, and BF350 models. Next steps look to integrate Avikus systems with Honda BF350 iST controllers across all OEMs, dealers and customers.
