Combining luxury with performance.

It was love at first sight for Kyle Stenzel and his team at Spring Brook Marina and Yacht Sales.

“We did a lot of research into builders and are convinced that Barletta has a company culture very similar to our own: Very service oriented,” Stenzel says. “Their construction quality is incredibly impressive, and the design features are industry leading.”

With five Spring Brook locations on lakes and rivers in Illinois, Wisconsin, Ohio and Michigan, Stenzel says “We’re very excited about this new partnership,” and points to the Barletta L25UC pontoon boat as a perfect example.

This 25-footer can carry up to 14 guests on sumptuous, quilted Dolce marine vinyl seating. Forward of the helm are a pair of lounges with armrests and forward-facing chaise backs, featuring immense stowage underneath. Not only are there more than ample “Yeti-sized” cupholders for large mugs, there’s also multiple USB ports for charging devices. The one-level flooring is finished in luxury woven vinyl that’s both gentle on bare feet and easy to clean.

Opposite the helm is a co-captain’s chair, and just aft is a multi-use rear seating area called the Ultra Lounge, which can be either forward- or aft-facing loungers with pivoting seatbacks or an oversized sunpad. This seating configuration is centered around a stow-away table for dining and in-floor “Yeti-Ready” cooler storage.

The skipper has an extra-large, high-back helm seat that reclines, swivels and is set on a raised platform for 360-degree visibility. A Simrad 7-inch chartplotter is standard, and an upgraded Hertz Marine stereo with six speakers provides the music. Have a furry friend aboard? Integrated food and water dishes are hidden underneath the helm platform.

The two or three 26-inch pontoons are insulated with rubber pads to eliminate any rattles. The ski tow system is the Barletta tube/tow cage directly mounted to the chassis, enabling it to handle more than 3,000 pounds! Water toys and skis can be stored in deep in-floor lockers.

With up to 300-hp on tritoon versions, the dual-stage pontoon strakes get the Barletta L25UC on plane fast and give speeds into the 40-mph range. Combining luxury with performance, it’s no surprise the Spring Brook Marina team picked this as their “fave.”
