As part of its five year celebration since the inception of the Forward Drive, Volvo Penta is launching its “Be a Featured Forward Drive” social media campaign in conjunction with its “360 Degrees of Fun” campaign. The contest celebrates the versatility and performance that Volvo’s Forward Drive brought to the boating world.
Entrants need only share an image, video or story that represents the joy and fun their Forward Drive brings to boating adventures. It can be from years past or this summer. The contest takes place now through October 15, and entrants are eligible to win a variety of prizes, including a GoPro HERO8 camera and wakesurf board.

Launched in 2015, the Volvo Penta Forward Drive created an entirely new segment of boating, enabling a new class of boat design that blends the comfort and performance of a traditional sterndrive with the action and ability of a watersport boat.
Since its creation, the Volvo Penta Forward Drive has been installed in thousands of boats, and boasts around 50 models to choose from.
