North America’s leading manufacturer of pontoon boats, Bennington, is expanding its operations and bringing a slate of new jobs to Elkhart, Indiana. The company recently invested in a new 43,485-square-foot building in the area and has already begun to expand production to the new space.
“Demand for our pontoons continues to be very strong,” says Jake Vogel, president of Bennington Boats. “We are taking action investing in our hometown and its people to increase the availability of our boats for our dealers and customers.”
The investment in the new facility has created immediate openings for over 75 jobs at the company, for everything from welding, painting and assembly to marketing, human resources and finance. New training programs are actively in the process, providing increased opportunities for both new and current employees to grow and develop their skillsets.
