Following Boating Ontario’s successful Clean Marine Program, the association is now promoting its Clean Boater Program.
This new program encourages boaters to take the pledge to: Recycle and keep Ontario waterways garbage-free; practice proper fueling techniques; keep a clean, oil-free bilge and use oil absorbent bilge socks or mats; use proper pumpout facilities; support Boating Ontario’s Clean Marine marinas; and promote Clean Boater practices at all times.
The website cleanboater.boatingontario.ca provides boaters with resources, videos and information on clean boating.
