Calling all future boating journalists! Boating Writers International (BWI) is looking for talented undergraduate students interested in pursuing a career in boating media to apply to its Active Interest Media Boating Journalist Scholarship, created to honor and further students’ interest and career in the field of boating media.
The $3,000 scholarship will help a lucky student interested in pursuing a career in boating journalism, photography, video, broadcasting, film or art. Undergraduate students are encouraged to apply regardless of major. Judges will be looking for applicants with talent, promise and a firsthand knowledge of boating life.
Applications are due by January 15, 2022, and the scholarship will be awarded at the annual BWI meeting at the 2022 Miami International Boat Show in February. To be considered for the $3,000 award, applications must be completed in full and mailed to 4599 Deep River Place, Jacksonville, FL 32224 by the deadline.
