Canadian Electric Boat Company Adds Speed With Bruce 22

By October 25, 2016No Comments

The Canadian Electric Boat Company, which is known for combining classic-styled boats with innovative electric engines, has a fast new model on the water. The Bruce 22 is a high power and performance boat that can reach up to 41 mph: perfect for boaters who want to waterski in style.

The Canadian Electric Boat Company is a boutique boat manufacturer based in Quebec, Canada. The company has been building boats with propulsion systems fuelled purely by electricity since 1995.

The Bruce 22 runs on a 400V high power engine, and utilizes a rechargeable, lithium-ion Panasonic battery pack (the same that Tesla uses). This electric system makes for a quiet and extremely environmentally friendly ride. The Bruce 22 is constructed with traditional mahogany floors and seats, as well as carbon fiber or mahogany decks. The Bruce 22 can fit five to eight passengers, comes in customizable colors, and has optional underwater lights, ski pole, swim platform and carbon inserts.
