Even though many classic boat shows have been canceled this year, hop aboard a vintage boat on August 8 for National Vintage Boating Day, which celebrates boats built before 1991 and all wooden boats.

There are some routes anyone can join or you can plan your own. The routes that are confirmed by The Antique and Classic Boat Society Toronto include Lake Muskoka, Lake Rousseau, Gloucester Pool, Lake of Bays and Pigeon Lake. All routes begin at 10:30 a.m and last until Noon.

If you are planning to gather your own group, Canadian Yachting reminds you to meet at a spot before you all begin and make sure to choose a route that is easy to navigate. They will promote the route if you wish!
