Charlevoix, Michigan once again graced the list of U.S. Harbors’ “Best Harbor in the U.S.,” earning a spot as the Great Lakes Regional Winner. “This beautiful little harbor is a gateway to both Lake Michigan and Lake Charlevoix. It has all the amenities you could need,” said Julie S. during the voting. Now in its fourth annual year, the “Best Harbor in the U.S.” competition included six weeks of online voting, where over 2,500 people voted for their favorite harbor.
Last year, Charlevoix stood out as the Grand Winner of the contest, which helps promote the strength and vitality of coastal communities, allowing residents to share their passion and love for their home port.
