With a long and storied history dating back to 1874, the builder has won legions of fans, including owners and admirers who are drawn to the brand for boats that are ensconced in Americana.

The new Launch 35 GT now carries on those hallowed traditions, bringing a level of fun and style to any waterway. Tim Allen, sales manager at Gage Marine on Wisconsin’s Lake Geneva, has lots of nice things to say about this model.

“She can really do it all,” he says with a laugh. “The boat is a bowrider with a little berth cabin, and she’s also got a head, which a lot of people are really happy about. She’s good in rough water, but she’s also really luxurious for a dayboat like this.”

Among his favorite features onboard are a sunshade, joystick controls and an overall layout that he says is highly usable and versatile.

“It’s a big, open boat with enough room to move around and get comfortable, and I like that a lot,” he says. “She’s heavy enough to handle rougher water really well, too. That adds a layer of luxury because you’re not getting knocked around if there is a chop. And if you get the Heritage Trim Edition with teak accents throughout, that adds an extra layer of luxury too — plus a wow factor.”

The well-laid-out Launch 35 GT features spacious U-shaped bow seating, a head in the portside console, a small berth in the starboard-side console and a convertible aft sunpad to soak up the rays.

Gage Marine currently has a Launch 35 GT with twin 380-hp Mercurys in stock. The boat can be outfitted with a litany of options, including air conditioning at the helm, a bow thruster, a Seakeeper Ride system, a hardtop, a motorized sunshade, a windlass and more.

This is a dayboat that will check a lot of boxes for people looking to make the most of a day out on the lake — particularly if they want to do it in style.
