Cobalt introduced its all new R35 Sterndrive luxury runabout — the largest model in its R Series — in a special invitation-only event at the Miami International Boat Show in February. Delivering a combination of performance, style, comfort and convenience, the R35 offers a long list of luxury features and more space, thanks to its 35-foot, 4-inch LOA, deep cockpit and greater freeboard.
Boasting a contemporary design, the R35 offers a choice of MerCruiser or Volvo twin engines, includes a Garmin glass cockpit with multiple touchscreen displays, ultra-fast USB-C charging stations, lots of storage, a swim step and a cabin that can accommodate sleeping as well as seating for use with a smart TV/music player/gaming console.
The R35 comes with a host of upgrade options, including a Harman Kardon premier marine audio system, a side-entry door, a Seakeeper gyroscopic stabilization system, Cobalt’s patented Splash & Stow inflatables management system, an Auto Deploy Galley with sink, microwave and electric grill, Helm Watch display, built-in combo deep freezer/fridge and a FLIR compact thermal camera for added safety.
“Designed to completely reimagine the day boating experience with its size, comfort and luxury, the new R35 Sterndrive is the epitome of R Series sophistication,” says Jason Turner, Cobalt’s President.
Currently in production, the new R35 Sterndrive is available through Cobalt’s dealer network.
