In response to increased demand for a larger runabout, Cobalt has introduced its newest yacht-certified R33 Outboard. At over 33 feet, the R33 offers a contemporary design and lots of additional space thanks to a deeper cockpit and greater freeboard. Cabin accommodations allow for sleeping as well as seating, and the standard Garmin glass cockpit features multiple touchscreen displays.
Unique to this series is the industry’s first Harman Kardon premium marine audio system with Digital Signal Processing, and a Seakeeper gyro stabilization system.
The R33 comes with plenty of options, including the choice of L-seating or a galley, a removable cooler, solid teak dinette table, larger 12-inch Garmin displays and Fresco Chil upholstery that reduces the temperature by up to 20 degrees.
“Along with innovative technology to enhance the day boating experience in any type of water, the new R33 Outboard features advancements in design, luxury, convenience and overall performance,” says Jason Turner, Cobalt’s president. “We’re looking forward to offering coastal and ocean boaters the chance to enjoy a smooth, stable ride and triple-engine power in a high-quality Cobalt package.”
The R33 power is as impressive as its design, with up to three Yamaha or Mercury engines generating up to 900 hp.
