Artwork by Coloma, Michigan artist Randall Higdon is on display at The Inn at Harbor Shores. The Gallery at The Inn at Harbor Shores features rotating exhibits by Michigan artists. Higdon’s watercolor paintings draw inspiration from his immediate surroundings and places he has visited. His experience as a sailor, in particular, has given him insight on Lake Michigan and inland lakes. Higdon says simplicity is a key characteristic of his paintings, which use transparent and opaque watercolor techniques. Higdon’s credentials include membership with the American Watercolor Society and the National Society of Marine Artists. His works will be displayed through January 15, 2018.
