Cutwater 30 Command Bridge

A go-anywhere boat.

by Capt. Tom Serio

Cutwater Boats enhances its line of coupe and sedan style craft with the 30 Command Bridge (CB) model.

Based on a proven hull design, the 30 CB offers a higher perch for cruising and fishing, as well as a lower helm and amenities below for six passengers.

Up top, there’s seating for four with a convertible helm seat that also faces the aft seat and table. For trailering the 30 CB, the bridge dash and radar arch are retractable for road clearance, which enables the 30 CB to essentially go anywhere.

Inside, the layout is smart and comfortable. A Euro-style galley to port conceals appliances beneath a hinged countertop that offers a clean look when not in use and doubles as a buffet or counter space. Appliances include a two-burner cooktop, an oven/microwave, a fridge/freezer and a stainless steel sink with a flip-down faucet. Forward is a second helm seat that converts into an aft-facing lounge. The flooring is teak and holly inlay.

To starboard is a flip-out hi-low dinette table that converts into a sleeper. Ahead is the lower helm, with dash space for multiple chartplotter displays, engine monitors, VHF, thruster controls, switches and throttle controls.

Forward below is an island berth with surround padding, twin skylights, shelving and a flat screen TV. The head has a shower enclosure, an electric toilet vanity and plenty of light, thanks to a porthole.

Enhance the cruising experience with twin cushioned observation seats on the foredeck. Cockpit amenities include a removable cherry wood table, a sink, a shower, fold-out gunwale seats and a lounge.

You’re sure to be satisfied with all the standard features, including six batteries, docking lights, a Volvo D6 435-hp engine, 22-inch TVs, a swim platform, an 11-gallon hot water heater and more. Cutwater also offers a Northwest Edition (with enhanced navigation, a propane stove/oven, an anchor package and downrigger plugs) for $309,937, and a Luxury Edition (with AC and heat, a 5kw generator, a navigation package and a solar panel) for $324,937.

Additional options include a shade and Bimini top, a triple axle trailer, a dinghy with a motor and more.

The Cutwater 30 Command Bridge has it all, no matter where you want to go.
