Marine navigation company savvy navvy and Dockwa, a marina reservation and boater relationship platform, have collaborated to provide boaters with a platform that cuts down on planning time, allowing boaters to do what they love best: Explore and have fun.

The partnership benefits boaters on both platforms and introduces hundreds of thousands of boaters who currently use Dockwa to savvy navvy. Dockwa is a free boating app that makes it easy for boaters to find marinas, book reservations, pay for supplies and plan trips digitally, in turn allowing marinas to take reservations, assign slips, process payments and communicate through one easy space.

savvy navvy, which simplifies the navigation process and allows boaters to plan a trip with the click of a button, will now have Dockwa’s marina information integrated into the app, making it easier than ever to plan a trip.

“It’s a pleasure to collaborate with the team at savvy navvy. Their unique algorithm and on-tap marine information is a real asset to anyone who loves spending time on the water,” says Jeremy Crane, VP of product for Dockwa. “By integrating their routing into our booking process we’ll be helping our users get from one marina to another easier than ever before.”

“Dockwa and savvy navvy are both aligned closely in our vision of making boating easier and more enjoyable for everyone. By integrating Dockwa marina information into our app savvy navvy users will get incredibly detailed information about marina and yacht club bookings, facilities, reviews, amenities and more. This enables users to confidently book overnight stays on their boat, assured that they have as much information as possible to book the best location for them,” adds Jelte Liebrand, ex-Googler and founder of savvy navvy.
