Eliminate Seasickness With Seakeeper

By March 8, 2016No Comments

Seakeeper hopes to eliminate seasickness with just the push of a button. Using gyro stabilization technology, Seakeeper reduces boat roll to create a more land-like boating experience.

Seakeeper is a computer-controlled gyroscope that is installed in the hull. It fits in boats 30 feet and above, and requires minimal maintenance. Retrofit installation of Seakeeper can cost anywhere from $5,000 to $35,000, depending on the boat. Due to its light weight and location inside the hull, Seakeeper does not affect drag or top speed.

Prices vary, but the Seakeeper 3DC for vessels 30-40 feet up to 10 tons goes for $30,800. For more detailed pricing guidelines, check out Seakeeper.com.
