New images released by British boatbuilder Fairline reveal a reimagined interior and exterior for the new Targa 40, which will debut at boot Düsseldorf in January 2024. Featuring a bold exterior design with a modern bluff-bow hull, the Targa 40 blends sophistication and modern finishes with a sporty design, with a large open cockpit equipped with a hardtop and electric canvas sunroof providing plenty of open space on board. Large windows flood the interior with light and uninterrupted views, while attention to usable space is evident throughout.
“The popularity of the Targa 38 cannot be disputed and this brand new 40 takes everything we loved about the 38 and elevates it for the 21st century,” says Fairline’s in-house lead concept designer, Christian Gott. “These new images showcase just what a wow factor the Targa 40 has and we can’t wait for Fairline fans to see it in person in January.”
Boaters will enjoy a power-down beach club balcony starboard, as well as twin sunbeds that easily convert into sofas. The C-shaped dining and seating area is spacious, with a wet bar nestled behind two individual helm seats. At the helm, attention to technology and ergonomics is evident, with the latest Garmin touchscreen multi-function displays delivering integrated system control.
Up at the bow, expansive sunbeds and forward-facing sofa offer impressive views and relaxation. Below deck, the two cabin layout provides four births, with an en-suite for the owner’s suite. Owners will have the choice of either a Volvo Penta D6-340s or D6-380s.
“The Targa 40 is a major milestone in our new model development programme and follows the Squadron 58 which will make its world debut at Southampton International Boat Show this September,” adds Fairline’s Sales Director, James Powell. “We’re continually improving and adding to our model range and this new Targa 40 will offer many boaters their first step into our renowned Targa range.”
