Forespar has reached the big 5-0 and will be celebrating the milestone with a year-long celebration. Events kicked off on April 8 at Strictly Sail Richmond with a cocktail party and rum tasting in the company’s booth. Throughout the rest of the year, boaters can expect parties, contests, awards, flashbacks, dealer surprises and an additional “few surprises.”
For the past five decades, Forespar has specialized in producing boating and commercial lightweight marine products, all stemming from the company’s first telescoping whisker pole developed by company founder Robert Foresman in 1966. Some of the company’s most well-known products today include their Marelon plumbing system, a line of carbon fiber structures for tiller extensions, radar spars and, of course, whisker poles.
