Join thousands of other volunteers for the largest Adopt-a-Beach cleanup day of the year on September 21! The cleanups, organized by the Alliance for the Great Lakes, collected more than 36,000 pounds of waste on the day in 2018, more than 89% of which was plastic, and the goal is to exceed that this year.
Each year, event volunteers remove tens of thousands of pounds of litter from shorelines and contribute data on what they find for researchers to use worldwide.
