Versatility and attention to detail are part of Grady-White’s heritage, and the new Express 340 is a good example.
“The new Express 340 preserves our sportfishing heritage with an added level of luxury and comfort our customers will not find in any other boats in this class,” says Christian Carraway, senior product designer for Grady-White.
Incorporating all that the company has innovated over the years, the Express 340 is at home offshore as she is taking the family out for a day on the water. Riding on the sea-proven, deep-V, SeaV² hull, designed in conjunction with Ray Hunt Design, with its moderate stern deadrise that steadily increases as it moves forward to the bow, the Express 340 delivers lift stability, control and a dry ride.
Paying special attention to responses from owners of the highly successful Express 330 launched in 2001, the Express 340 provides those aboard with an improved platform, featuring a fresh look at the layout, a high-end selection of luxurious materials, and versatility in seating and accommodations. The Express 340 is powered by triple Yamaha 350s or twin 450s with Helm Master EX.
“The new Express 340 is a giant leap forward for those who want to venture to the islands for a private escape, visit varied ports of call, and spend the night,” says Todd Leggett, director of sales and customer relations. “It’s a luxury home away from home and superbly engineered with a top-end speed over 50 mph.”
Key equipment includes port and starboard entry doors, an enclosed head with sink and stand-up shower, a rigging station, and a long list of other gear. Options include a Seakeeper 3 gyro, an 18-foot outrigger kit, a cockpit refrigerator and grill, and more, all supported by Grady-White’s long-standing commitment to its owners. After all, it is a Grady-White.
