XINSURANCE has been named the Title Sponsor of Michigan City’s award-winning Great Lakes Grand Prix race through 2027 — a big advancement for the race, which typically secures sponsors on an annual basis, making it difficult for long-term marketing of the event.
“Bringing XINSURANCE onboard is a perfect fit!” says LaPorte County Convention and Visitor Bureau CEO Jack Arnett. “They bring so much to the partnership from an added-value marketing perspective. Even more exciting is the fact that they will also be one of 7 Class One powerboats competing in the APBA series.”
XINSURANCE participated last year in the event, which pulls participants and visitors on an international level and brings millions to the local economy. This year will mark the 14th annual event, happening August 5-6, 2023.
“I must give XINSURANCE President and CEO Rick J. Lindsey the credit for proposing this multi-year concept. That was a great idea that will allow for both parties to do extensive long-term branding of the event. This is the first time we’ve been able to add a title sponsor for this length in 14 years — it’s a big deal,” continues Arnett, reports NWI Life. “XINSURANCE is embedded in the race circuit, and all the money that we get from sponsorships like this goes right back into the race or into the community.”
“I cannot express enough the pride and professionalism that the LaPorte County Convention and Visitor’s Bureau has brought to the City of Michigan City,” adds Michigan City Mayor Duane Parry “The addition of XINSURANCE greatly enhances this great event. I applaud this amazing accomplishment of bringing them on as a much-valued partner.”
