With boats going into storage for the winter, the nonprofit Write On, Door County and the Door County Maritime Museum are teaming up to put on the second season of Great Lakes/Great Books in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. The book club will gather the first Thursday of each month at the Maritime Museum to discuss works of fiction, nonfiction and poetry based on or set in the Great Lakes.
Although the lineup may change after first meeting discussions, the book selected for December is a nonfiction novel by Peter Annin, titled “The Great Lakes Water Wars.” The first meeting is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on November 5.
