The Great Lakes Surf Festival is back for its fourth annual year. Head out this Saturday, August 13 from 12:30 to 6pm to Pere Marquette Beach in Muskegon, Michigan, and and have fun surfing and paddleboarding, practice yoga on the beach, and enjoy music, food and fun with fellow water lovers.

A raffle will be held to give away several surfboards and paddleboards, as well as a trip for two to Witch’s Surf Camp in Tamarindo, Costa Rica. The surf festival, in conjunction with boat partners, will be producing artificial waves gentle enough for beginners to learn various boardsports.

“We are excited to see the Great Lakes Surf Festival grow and to have the support from our sponsors, the surf and paddleboard industry, and our amazing community. We have one of the most beautiful venue locations on the Great Lakes, in Pere Marquette Beach, and we encourage anyone interested in a fun and family friendly beach day to come out and join us, “ says event co-founder Joe Bidawid.

“Imagine a late summer day on an amazing beach, doing what you love and surrounded by so many people from all over the Great Lakes, who share the same passion. That is our goal,” he adds.
