On September 6 in Cannes, Group Beneteau announced an exciting range of new developments and latest product innovations at its brand-new concept On the Horizon event. In addition to new releases from the group’s multiple brands, the group announced a new phase in boating of electric and hybrid propulsion systems for Beneteau, Delphia and Excess brands, with the first electric models to be presented in 2022.

“The epidemic and its consequences have accelerated the various transitions already underway. There are new expectations and user habits, new ways of traveling and latest technologies: a new world of pleasure boating and marine leisure is coming into view on the horizon, and all of us throughout Groupe Beneteau are positioning ourselves to be the leading players in this new world,” explained Jérôme de Metz, Groupe Beneteau chairman and CEO.

The group will also be kickstarting a new Seanapps-connected boat solution on a series of Beneteau, Jeanneau and Prestige models, offering the onboard smart application that enables boaters, dealers and charter companies to connect to a fleet or boat at any time.

New product launches are also on the horizon for multiple brands. Wellcraft will gain two new ranges in addition to its renowned offshore sport fishing collection: An adventure cruiser range and a luxury center console range. The first of the new adventure cruisers, the 35-foot Commuter 355, is set to premier stateside in spring of 2022.

“We’re creating a new generation of game-changers in the world of adventure cruisers built for our ultra passionate clients, boats that take their boating that extra bit further, and change the rules of the game,” says Nick Harvey, Wellcraft general manager.

A new Horizon series for Four Winns will reinterpret a classic with modern attributes, with the H4 serving as the first model in the new series, offering an innovative new eye-catching design for the outboard twin hull boat.

In the Prestige line, the X60 will launch alongside its flagship W70 in 2022, as Prestige also makes its way into the Power Catamaran market with the brand new M-Line range. Details on this new range will be shared at the Dusseldorf, Germany and Miami boat shows in 2022.
