Harris Boats announced its first all-electric pontoon, the e-210. Powered by a Mercury Avator 35e outboard, the new model offers the same style, comfort and amenities boaters have come to expect from Harris, in a more sustainable, gas-free model.
The e-210 features the Cruiser SLDH layout with a rear-facing lounger and dual helm chairs, and owners can choose from a variety of exterior, accent and vinyl options. At just over 23 feet, the model offers room to relax and enjoy the cruise, with advanced technology that monitors battery power and range.
“Our first all-electric pontoon represents an exciting milestone for the Harris brand,” said Brian Athmer, president of Harris Boats, reports Boating Industry Canada. “Designed, engineered, and tested as an integrated system in partnership with Mercury Marine, we are thrilled to offer our customers the Cruiser e-210. A silent, efficient, and cost competitive electric pontoon boat, it is also uncompromising in the features and luxury craftsmanship Harris is known for. Early feedback has been overwhelmingly positive with the e-210, and we look forward to continuing to build upon our electric offerings across our lineup.”
Performance for the 2-210 varies with the number of batteries. Running up to 7.5 hours with two batteries and increasing to up to 15 hours with four batteries. Charge time takes from nine to 18 hours.
