Harris’ New V270 Features Original Design

By February 23, 2016No Comments

For years, manufacturers have been outfitting boats with nicer and fancier galleys and heads. Until recently, though, the pontoon has been excluded from most of these luxury design upgrades. However, with the introduction of Harris’ new V Series at the Miami Boat Show, things might be about to change.

The most notable feature of the V270 is its unique center console design, which adds convenience for boaters who want to be out on the water all day long. Specifically, the V270 is the first aluminum pontoon boat to come standard with a full marine head compartment with shower, sink, vanity compartment and stainless-steel faucet. All of this is craftily tucked below deck level. Connected to the center console is a galley, which includes a faucet, sink and refrigerator.

“The V270 will make your days on the water fun and stress free because it offers what boaters have been asking for—the stability and ease of boarding of a pontoon with the conveniences found on off-shore center console boats,” says Harris president Nick Stickler in a statement.

The pontoon is powered by Mercury 400R Verado, features large touch-screen displays and a built-in speaker system in the console, and has a sleek fiberglass exterior. The 270 is the only available length in the V Series.
