The leading supplier of Rigid Inflatable Boats (RIBS) in North America announced the addition of two dealerships to its network in New York as part of its expanding U.S. market share growth. Highfield Boats welcomes Spellman’s Marine on Long Island in Hampton Bays, New York and Northern Marine in the 1000 Islands region in Clayton, New York to its dealer network.

“We are happy to welcome these two fine New York State dealers to our growing list of high-quality, service-oriented dealer partners,” says Christophe Lavigne, president of Highfield Boats USA. “They both have established themselves as leaders in their respective markets by offering top-of-the-line products their customers want and need, backed by highly attentive professional service.”

“We looked at the Highfield line at a boat show, and we were attracted to the craftsmanship and fit-and-finish of the boats,” says Buddy Spellman, owner of Spellman’s Marine. “Then we went on vacation to St. Thomas and the Highfield boats were all over. When we returned, we contacted Tom Watson [Highfield general manager] to see if the line was available. I think the genuine quality and the aluminum hulls will really fit in well in our dealership. Our customers recognize quality and demand performance. Highfield fits that bill just right.”

Highfield’s durability and reliability was an appeal for Northern Marine. “We looked at three or four boat lines, including other RIB lines, but couldn’t find any platforms that we felt were right for our existing customers and overall market,” adds Andy Gregware, owner of Northern Marine. “Highfield stood out from the others we looked at. We really like the durability and characteristics of the hull. The boats will provide a good fit for our recreational and commercial clients. We’re very excited to be offering Highfield’s products.”
