Leading RIB manufacturer Highfield Boats will display five new and updated models at the upcoming Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show on October 25 – 29, 2023, expanding its offerings of alternative electric propulsion options through new partnerships with manufacturers like ZeroJet and ePropulsion along with existing relationships with Flux Marine, Mercury Marine and Pure Watercraft.

“Our new engine partnerships and the investments we are making in sustainable technology will give our dealers and their customers a much wider choice of propulsion packages to equip their Highfield RIBS the way they want them,” says Christophe Lavigne, president of Highfield Boats USA. “We are very excited about the wide range of new and redesigned models we are bringing to the U.S. fall boat show circuit this year along with our current best-selling models.”

The new Highfield ZeroJet 330 is the first production RIB equipped with electric jet propulsion through a design collaboration with New Zealand electric jet propulsion company ZeroJet. At 11 feet in length, the RIB can reach top speeds of 22 knots offering silent running.

An offshore-capable primary boat as well as tender, the Highfield Sport 800 delivers a max capacity of 15 people and is available with up to 150 hp twin outboard power. The aft cockpit doubles as an outdoor dining area, while the rear seats fold to form an aft sun pad.

Newly redesigned with a “MAX” extra-large bow locker that can hold different brands of lithium-ion batteries, the Highfield Classic MAX is also perfect for storing additional gear in a lockable compartment.

The Highfield Sport 660 and Sport 560 feature new engineering and design enhancements, including a Bluesea dual-circuit battery switch, enabling two optional batteries for house electrical power, ACR, LED lights on console and helm seat, bow sundeck, console glove box, a Gussi steering wheel, hydraulic steering, a roll bar for boats with single-engine installations, swim platform with ladder, and a shower kit with a built-in 13-gallon freshwater tank.
