Hobie is hopping on the paddle board trend, but with a twist: Their paddle boards are also pedal boards. Hobie has outfitted their Mirage Eclipse paddle boards with the same MirageDrive pedal system found in their kayaks. A simple walking motion will set the underwater fins in motion and propel the boards forward. A thin aluminum handlebar is placed for added stability and easy steering. The underwater fins also fold-up if you decide to peddle up to the beach for some on-land exploration. The Hobie Mirage Eclipse is small enough to transport on cars, sailboats and motorboats. Color options include yellow and blue.
The Hobie Mirage Eclipse 10.5 is available for $2,499, and the Hobie Mirage Eclipse 12 is $2,599.
