Honda Debuts Shallow-Water Motors

By August 22, 2017No Comments

Honda Marine is looking to expand its range of motors and customers with three new motor models that are specifically designed to maneuver in shallow waters. The new line includes three models: The Honda 40 Jet, 65 Jet and 105 Jet.

“The launch of the new Honda 40 Jet, 65 Jet and 105 Jet will power boaters to shallows where prop engines can’t go,” says Will Walton, assistant vice president at Honda Marine. “These engines mark Honda’s entry into a new segment of the market. The combination of powerful jet pump technology with Honda’s legendary marine powerheads gives our customers a wider choice of Honda marine outboard motors to meet all their boating needs.

Boaters can avoid getting a propeller damaged by shallow, rocky bottoms or low-water conditions with Honda’s new motors’ low-profile foot deisgn, which has no gearcase or propeller extending below the hull. All three models come with Honda’s standard quiet and fuel-efficient operation, plus jet propulsion.
