The United States Power Squadrons — America’s Boating Club has announced an all-new, self-paced online boating safety course that allows recreational boaters to learn new safety skills and further their education from the safety of their own homes.

“During this global pandemic, the safest place for you and your loved ones is home,” says Mary Paige Abbott, chief commander of United States Power Squadrons — America’s Boating Club. “While you’re there, we would like to offer you, your family and friends a way to occupy yourselves — by brushing up on your skills for the boating season. Whether beginner, intermediate or advanced, there are classes to enhance your boating knowledge that also fit your schedule.”

In addition to America’s Boating Course 3rd Edition, which is offered in both English and Spanish, America’s Boating is offering online seminars that include AIS Electronics for Boaters; How to Use Your GPS; Planning Your Cruise; Weather for Boaters; All About Marine Radio; Rivers, Locks and Lakes; Crew at the Helm; Hurricane Preparation and more.

America’s Boating Club has been providing education to the boating community for 100 years, and members enjoy multiple benefits in addition to ongoing education, including discounts on boating products, insurance, travel and lodging.
