First place, J. Michael Kelly/Graham Trucking, races in the Madison Regatta 65th running of the Indiana Governor’s Cup, held over the 4th of July weekend on the Ohio River in Madison, Indiana. This was the 2015 season opener of the H1 Unlimited series. Kelly, from Bonney Lake, Washington, drove his Graham Trucking-sponsored hydroplane to win his second consecutive Governor’s Cup title with an average speed of 141.818 mph and recorded the race’s fastest lap of 144.701 mph, his sixth career win. Second place finisher Jimmy Shane, from Covington, Washington, drove the Oberto/Miss Madison hull and posted a 139.724 mph average. — Paul Kemiel
