The recreational boating industry mourned the passing of Peter Spiegel, who passed away suddenly on October 23, 2016 at the age of 53. Spiegel was the Smoker Craft regional sales director and a 21-year Smoker Craft employee. In addition to his sizable contributions at Smoker Craft, Spiegel often donated his time to support a number of boating industry initiatives. He served on the board of the National Marine Manufacturers Association of Canada. Those that knew Spiegel say he was also known for his hearty laugh, genuine friendship, sense of humor and zest for life. He is survived by his wife and two daughters.
