Cutwater’s new C-288 Coupe introduced at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show last week is built for fun on the water, with versatility, speed and performance that easily takes it from cruising to fishing, entertaining or diving.

“The new Cutwater C-288 Coupe is sure to please our existing customers as well as others new to the brand. Packed with features and comfortable accommodations, easy to operate, the C-288’s 10-foot beam creates a stable platform that can still be trailered. This Cutwater is a winner!” says Cutwater Boats Vice President Jeff Messmer.

A double stepped hull and patented laminar flow interrupters help the C-288 plane quickly and provide smooth, positive cornering, while the standard bow thruster with wireless remote makes docking easy.

Onboard, the large cockpit has room for everything, from rod holders to beverage holders, a livewell and an electric grill. Easily convert the cockpit into a social space with seating for six. The Clear-Path swim platform makes for easy boarding, along with a new folding transom seat that can face aft to the platform, forward into the cockpit, or be folded away when not in use. When it comes to extending your cruising, an overhead solar panel and sport racks will come in handy.

For entertaining and overnight stays, the C-288 boasts a private master cabin forward, an ensuite head with shower and storage, a mid-berth cabin, as well as a fully equipped galley with a dinette whose table can be lowered for extra sleeping space. The climate-controlled cabin boats a helm complete with a Garmin GPSMAP 8612xsv chartplotter, autopilot, sonar, xHD radar, a DSC-capable VHF radio, color engine displays and twin-lever electronic throttle controls. Windows, doors and hatches open to let in more natural light on warmer days.
