BoatU.S. has released five ways to celebrate the traditional start of the summer boating season just in time for the annual National Fishing and Boating Week.
Here are a few:
1. Take someone out boating, fishing or sailing who has never been before.
2. Teach someone how to operate a powerboat, how to sail, or how to fish.
3. Check out TakeMeFishing.org for different ways of enjoying the week if you don’t have a boat, including free fishing days.
4. Study up on how to cast, tie knots, and make fishing rings with videos and tips at TakeMeFishing.org.
5. Visit BoatU.S.’s YouTube channel to watch videos of basic boat-handling and fishing tips.
With more than a half-million members, BoatU.S. is the country’s largest recreational boaters organization. To learn more about them and National Fishing and Boating Week, visit BoatUS.com.
