Larson Set for 2018 With New Bowrider Models

By October 17, 2017No Comments

Larson has unveiled its fresh new models for 2018: The LX 160 OB and the LX 185 OB. The two new bowriders come with all-new decks and updated design to emphasize comfort, space and seating.

“The 160 OB and 185 OB represent Larson’s core values,” says Rob Parmentier, president of Larson Boats in a press release. “We’ve applied strategic engineering decisions and design changes to ensure that these models deliver only the things families want and need, and nothing they don’t.”

The 160 OB comes with a 7-foot, 2-inch beam and the 185 OB with a 7-foot, 10-inch beam. Both boast a full wraparound windshield and deeper cockpit floor. Space is carefully considered, as many boat features double as storage space: Aft bench seating and bow seating both have under-seat storage, and portside bench seating has covered storage below.

Families looking for a little fun on the water can opt for a tow sports pole for water skiing and tubing. Both models also come standard with a Rockford-Fosgate audio system with USB port. The 160 OB comes standard with a 60-hp Mercury FourStroke engine, while the 185 OB comes standard with a 115- hp Mercury FourStroke engine.
