Le Boat’s Ownership Program makes it simple and easy for boaters to enjoy weeks of vacation time onboard throughout Europe, and it has just expanded its program to include Canadian and American travelers, adding new Canadian destinations to its roster.

The program allows owners to utilize up to 10 weeks of cruising per season across its destinations in both Europe and Canada, making it ideal for travelers who enjoy more than three weeks of boating per year and want to boat in a variety of destinations without the hassle of trailering their boat or the expense of renting each time. Le Boat charters out the boat when the owner is not using it, paying the owner a guaranteed income of 6% of the purchase price annually, paid out monthly. Even better, after seven years Le Boat offers a guaranteed buy-back at 50% of the initial boat cost.

“Our program has been hugely popular among European and UK travelers. Expanding into North America gives the dream of boat ownership to Canadians and Americans and offers the chance to own a brand-new luxury Horizon Cruiser,” says Lisa Mclean, North American marketing manager for Le Boat. “Our ownership program makes the possibility of owning your boat simple and worry free so you can focus on vacationing on some of the world’s most beautiful waterways.”

No boat license or previous boating experience is required to become a Le Boat owner. Le Boat provides instruction, and owners can enjoy up to four weeks in Canada and six in Europe per year, with a choice of 36 bases in 17 cruising regions. Le Boat takes care of the maintenance, cost of repairs and operating costs, and takes care of the boat in the owner’s absence, so there are zero operating costs and maintenance requirements for those who join the program.
