The National Marine Representatives Association (NMRA) is again offering a scholarship to a student pursuing a career in the maritime trades. The $2,500 scholarship application is open to high school seniors, college students and vocational students.
The NMRA acts as the industry voice, a networking tool and an information resource for marine sales representatives and manufacturers who sell through reps. The scholarship is open to students interested in pursuing a number of marine fields, including boatbuilding, logistics, naval design and more.
To apply, students must provide a written letter, letters of reference and their most recent school transcript. The application for the NMRA scholarship is due April 1, 2018, and the winner will be announced over the summer.
