Marquis Yachts Announces Strategic Reorganization

By January 31, 2019No Comments

Marquis Yachts — the Pulaski, Wisconsin builder of Marquis, Carver and Lexus Yachts — has announced a strategic reorganization in a recent statement. The company recently sold its Larson Boat brand to Polaris Industries and will now focus on the luxury yacht market by expanding the Carver Yachts brand, continue its partnership with Lexus, as well as relaunch its Marquis brand. Marquis Yachts will discontinue its current line of semi-custom cruising boats and transition to an entirely new line for 2019. The new Marquis 42 is expected to be introduced later this year at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. The 65-foot Lexus flybridge will also be introduced at the Fort Lauderdale show, and a new 46 Carver Command Bridge will make its debut in 2020.

“Based upon years of successfully building European styled boats, and our recent partnership with Lexus Yachts, our company is in an excellent position to capitalize on the growing worldwide market for luxury sport yachts,” President and CEO Rob Parmentier says. “This aggressive expansion of new models and the redefining of existing brands is now possible because of this important strategic refocus of who we are and what we do. Marquis Yachts LLC will continue to be a significant marine industry player as we go forward.”
