The Michigan Boating Industries Association (MBIA) announced its full Board of Directors at its annual conference. The MBIA is a non-profit marine trade organization in Michigan. It represents more than 350 marine businesses in the state’s $7.4 billion marine industry.
Tom Haag of Colony Marine in St. Clair Shores will serve as chairman of the board. Patti Smith of Silver Spray Sports in Fenton will serve as vice chair, and Jim Coburn of Coburn & Associated in Macomb will hold the secretary/treasurer position.
Other directors on the board
Haag was also re-elected as the Southeast regional director. Rob Davis of Club Royale in Waterford and Chris Lisowicz of North Shore Marina in Spring Lake were elected as state-wide directors. They will serve in these position for a three-year term.
