Megaware KeelGuard has developed another boat-defending product—this time for pontoons. The PontoonGuard is a 3.5-inch wide protector designed to prevent aluminum pontoons from abrasions, impacts, dents and chaffing caused by docks, piers, trailers and other boats. PontoonGuard is made of a super-strong polymer composite and has reflective tape running the length to enhance boat visibility in low-light conditions. Currently, PontoonGuard comes in two sizes: The 32-foot kit includes a pair of 16-foot protectors for boats up to 21 feet, while the 40-foot kit includes a pair of 20-foot protectors for boats up to 25 feet. Each kit costs $369.93 and $439.95, respectively. Color options include gray, black, blue and red.
