The National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) and Informa Markets, two of the largest players in the international and U.S. boat show scene, have partnered to unite the Miami International Boat Show, Miami Yacht Show and Superyacht Miami under one event: The Miami International Boat Show. The first combined show will take place in 2022.

“For 80 years, the Miami International Boat Show has served as the recreational boating industry’s flagship event and a prized platform to showcase world-class products and innovations to nearly 100,000 people across the globe,” says Frank Hugelmeyer, president of NMMA. “With NMMA’s new partnership with Informa Markets, together, we will take the show to the next level and deliver an unforgettable experience for our members, attendees, exhibitors and the local community for decades to come.”

The partnership marks the first joint production of South Florida winter boat shows and allows for numerous benefits and upgrades to the show, including the addition of a live concert series, expanded educational offerings, a digital component and the return of Miami Dealer Days.

In addition to creating an unparalleled best-in-class show experience, the partnership will also bring incredible opportunity for Miami’s hospitality and service industry, which has been hard hit during the pandemic.

The new joint show will run from Wednesday, February 16 to Sunday, February 20, 2022, over President’s Day Weekend. It will take place on-land at the newly reimagined Miami Beach Convention Center (MBCC) and in-water at Sea Isle Marina, One Herald Plaza and Island Gardens Deep Harbour on Watson Island.
