Sable Point Lighthouse Keepers announced an exciting summer for West Michigan lighthouses, including two big anniversaries! Head to Little Sable Point Lighthouse in Silver Lake State Park in Mears for its 150th anniversary this summer, to be celebrated on August 17, 2024. The lighthouse will also be offering a handful of free concerts on some Wednesdays throughout the summer.

Big Sable Point Lighthouse in Ludington State Park offers a beautiful two mile walk from Pine Campground, or visit on a bus day for a ride to the lighthouse, which will be opening on Mondays in July this year.

White River Light Station and Museum in Whitehall offers visitors an on-site museum to learn about the history of the lighthouse. It will also feature a selection of free concerts on a few Fridays throughout the summer.

All lighthouses are open Tuesday through Sunday from 10am-5pm, and cost $8 to climb for adults, $5 for students and children under 17. All access passes are available for those looking to visit all four lighthouses.
